A hard, vegetarian wax retrieved from a tropical palm tree. Otherwise called Brazil wax, carnauba is the hardest of all vegetable waxes utilized in beauty items. It can thicken recipes, give them a strong structure (think lipstick), and keep emulsions of oil and water from isolating together so they can hold a smooth, uniform surface. Carnauba is regularly matched with beeswax to give items a sparkling, lustrous completion, which is basic for recipes, for example, lip emollient and hair pomade to re-establish moisture and lift sparkle. Since carnauba is delicate and flexible when warmed and hard at room temperature, it’s a mainstream element for waxing units.
